Estimation of AP buffer size for TCP fairness over WLAN

The AP buffer effect upon TCP fairness over WLAN was researched. Then an estimation algorithm of AP buffer size for TCP fairness over WLAN was presented based on average window size. The algorithm used the relation of average packet dropping rate with average window size and average used window size, and employed the limiting condition of average window size for TCP fairness. The accuracy of the algorithm was analyzed by NS2 simulation.
