A fast hand-written digital character recognition method based on global feature(convex and concave feature) via simulating the processof human's eyes' recognition is studied.Thismethod presented hereneeds NO complexthinningprocedure on the digital chara-cter image,which reduces the possibility of error and rejection because of thinning distortion,and it needs NO complex stroke feature analysis,which means that it has quite good speed,as well as high recognition rate.The experimental results show that this method has a very high identify rate for testing stylebook.
