New development of MIMO wireless communication system

MIMO is a technology breakthrough in wireless communication, which can improve system capacity and spectrum efficiency. This paper gives an overview of MIMO,presents the researches of MIMO, including MIMO channel model and various kinds of Space-Time codes. and points out some problems that must be solved before MIMO commercialization.
