Construction of Digitalized Antique Network Environment Based on XML/SOAP

How to adopt XML/SOAP protocol to construct the digitalized antique digital museum information system environment is addressed, and how to design the system with least cost including image database storage format, transportation format and data conversion between them over distributed system are discussed. The system design architecture and experiment conclusion were provided. XML can be the standard data exchange language and SOAP can be the data exchange protocol in the distributed digital museum environment is suggested.
