Design of beacon system based on MSP430 microcontroller

A new beacon system which indicates the orientation of the recorder is designed in this paper in order to solve the onboard logger searching problem.The system consists of Phase-locked loop, microprocessor, GPS modules, power modules and so on.Actual measurement proves the system is reliable and can be achieved.This beacon can be applied in many fields logger search,which can effectively reduce the search scope to improve work efficiency.And this system is small,low power consumption and impact resistance.
