A new TPH-SPIC based method for track initiation

The discontinuous plots and a large quantity of false tracks detected by radar station frequently occur under the jamming of dense repeating pulses,and are beyond the capabilities of conventional algorithms.In this connection,a TPH-SPIC algorithm is presented,in which the parameter space of a standard Hough algorithm first coarsely,then finely divided and the motion characteristics of targets are combined.The simulation results indicate that such algorithm not only effectively reduces the amount and time of calculation,decreases the clusters in initial tracks,but also reduces the percentage of false tracks,with the real-time operation being improved remarkably and engineering application prosperity being bettered.
