This paper introduces the ontology idea in the field of enterprise modeling, introduces the concept, function, meaning of enterprise ontology, then explains enterprise knowledge representation and organization tactics, in the end,provides the detailed steps of developing ontology and method through an instance. Enterprise modeling based on ontology solves the problems of the enterprise knowledge sharing and reuse.
