Automatic Analysis of Vocal Folds Videokymogram

A quantitative method using image processing is presented to analyze the vibrational information in videokymograms automatically.The result shows that by using this method,the vibrational characteristic of vocal folds can be recognized more completely,and the diseases in vocal folds can be diagnosed quantitatively. Therefore,this method develops a new horizon to study the vibrational mechanism of the vocal folds.
