Watermark Inserting Scheme in the Client Side

With the rapid development and wide applications of multimedia and network technology,unauthorized copying and distribution of digital products have become a serious problem. Watermark technology has been proposed to tackle this problem. Many watermark schemes have been proposed in the last few years, including symmetric watermark schemes and asymmetric watermark schemes. In many applications we need to embed the user identification in the client side to trail the copying and distribution of digital products. In this paper,we discuss some problems in inserting watermark in the client side, and give some solution to them. We propose a scheme to insert watermark in the client side to efficient trail the illegal copying and distribution of digital data.
