A Mobile Agent Architecture for Supply Chain Management

This paper presents a complete supply chain management platform. Aiming at solving the dynamic and undeterminacy of supply chain management, mobile agent technology is introduced, to integrate the resources of enterprises distributed among Internet. The architecture, conversation policy and implementation issues of our mobile agent is described in detail, as well as the low level runtime environment and project management platform, which bind the supply chain management system with the legacy data sources of enterprises. This platform can be seen as an effective tool to build the virtual organization of enterprises.
