Direction-of-arrival estimation based on cross wigner-ville distribution

In the paper, Direction-of-Arrival(DOA) estimation of chirp signals is firstly analyzed. An algorithm of DOA estimation based on cross Wigner-Ville distribution (XWVD) is proposed. The signals are pre-sorted by time-frequency distribution, then the DOA is obtained by estimating the phase of the point along the time-frequency ridge. The algorithm can resolve multiple signals and applied to signals with time-varying frequency. Computer simulations demonstrate the efficacy of the presented algorithm.
