On Combining Top-down and Bottom-up Strategies in Reading

It is not completely agreed on how top-down strategy and bottom-up strategy are used in reading.This paper argues that both of them should be combined in reading.It analises the importance of making good use of the two reading strategies in order to help foster the ability to understand the reading material.
