Hyperlipidemia is one of the main hazards causing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.As the basis of hyperlipidemia research,animal models play the important role.Some common methods to establish animal models of hyperlipidemia were reviewed in order to provide information for selecting the animal models in scientific research and pharm projects.
