Generating test scenarios of functional test from UML activity diagrams

Test automation is an important way to improve the efficiency of software testing.Current researches mainly focus on the UML-based object oriented software testing.Most of them are about integration testing or unit testing,but very little about how to get integrated and reasonable system test cases automatically.Based on summarizing status of these researches,a method on how to derive test scenarios from the activity diagram of the actor is described that represents use case sequential dependencies and activity diagrams of the use cases,in a practical way and it is illustrated with examples.
