Comparative analysis network congestion control algorithms of XCP and TCP

With the rapidly improvement of computer network,the increase of Internet users,problem of Internet congestion control becomes more and more serious.Congestion control is the key factor to assure the Internet robustness.It becomes the hot issue and dif-ficulty issue of the Internet research.Some shortcomings of the traditional TCP Congestion control algorithms is analyzed,and then congestion algorithm of XCP and TCP is compared.Through experiments,it proved a new XCP congestion control algorithm using high efficiency,fairness and good,which can be expanded strong,the advantages of small queuing delay,and the router also to be very small overhead.
