Research on Semantic Annotating of Corrosive Material Image base on Ontology

How to automatically extract the high-level concepts from images is one of the greatest problem of content-based image retrieval currently,and image annotation is implemented as a retrieval process.In this paper,we start with the method of semantic annotating of corrosive material image.We illustrate the composition of corrosive material ontology and build the framework for annotating images automatically using ontologies and then proposed a ontology method of visual corrosive material characteristics to achieve automatic image annotation.
