Mutual information rate and analytic constraint in linear time invariant control systems
Zhang Hui · Kongzhi yu juece · 2003
Linear discretetime timeinvariant feedback systems disturbed by random processes are investigated from the viewpoint of theory. Mutual rate is employed as a measure of transmission in systems to formulate the basic condition of the tracking control problem. Based on this condition, a new design constraint is derived in dealing with the information destruction induced by exogenous disturbance input. Such analytic constraint indicates a relation between Bode integrals of the sensitivity function and the complementary sensitivity function, and implies a requirement of the unstable poles and nonminimum phase zeros of the open loop transfer function when it is strictly proper.
