Development and application of draft monitoring system for dredging barge

To realize the real-time monitoring of dredging barge’s loading status,according to the loading characteristics of dredging barge and monitoring requirements,an algorithm is proposed for judging the loading status of dredging barge in the development of monitoring system,and the function of real-time judging of dredging barge’s location and loading status information is realized by a draft detection device.This method can provide supervision to some extent on the illegal dumping of dredged sediment from dredging barge.
