Research on the Image Retrieval Method Based on Dominant Color of Partition

This paper puts forward an image retrieval method based on dominant color of partition,and connecting with the system architecture,the color characteristics extracting methods and similarity matching methods of the image retrieval based on contents,obtains the results,which show that adopting the method of partitioning the image and then extracting the dominant color of each partition can get excellent retrieval effectiveness.
