Advantages of GIS technology applied in risk analysis of long-distance oil and gas pipeline were introduced.The framework of long-distance oil and gas pipeline risk analysis and decision-making system was analyzed as well as application of database.The present application situation of GIS technology in long-distance pipeline risk analysis and decision was discussed,and application prospect of GIS technology in oil gas pipeline risk analysis was put forward.
