An Active Mechanism of Detection for the Anonymous Communication System
Ke Wu · Microelectronics & Computer · 2007
The performance of anonymous communication system relies on all members participating together in the system. But there are some malicious members and unreliable members in the anonymous systems which result to decrease the performance of anonymity. Based on the Bit commitment, an active mechanism of detection for the anonymous system is put forward in the paper. Theory analysis shows the mechanism is able to anonymously detect whether the member is online or counterfeit in the system. At the same time, the mechanism protects the data from man-in-the-middle attack during the transmission course by the one-way hash function and authentication.
