A new real-time industrial Ethernet technology EtherCAT is provided.The work principle and technical realization of EtherCAT is introduced.Through the analysis of the structure and operation ET1100 chip principle,EtherCAT Ethernet slave controller based on the ET1100 is designed.Its each interface design,software realization and application are studided.
