Impact of Health Education on Treatment Compliance and Self-management of Patients with Cerebral Aneurysm Operation

Objective To investigate the impact of health education on treatment compliance and self-management of patients with cerebral aneurysm operation.Methods Totally 86 patients with cerebral aneurysm at the peri-operative stage were randomly divided as intervention and control groups(n=43),The patients in the control group received conventional nursing,while those in the intervention group were given health education intervention on the basis of conventional nursing.The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale /Self-Rating Depression Scale(SAS/SDS) score,treatment compliance and self-management of patients in both groups were observed before and after the intervention.Results Compared with the control group,after the intervention,the average values of management satisfaction rate,treatment compliance rate,rate of change in life style,self-efficacy score were improved statistically significantly in the intervention group(P0.05);the SAS/SDS score in the intervention group was obviously lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The health education intervention can help to improve psychological conditions and elevate the treatment compliance and self-management in patients with cerebral aneurysm operation.
