Focus on the uneven potential distribution problems of ground grid when the transformer substation is struck by lightning, the conditions of lightning transient potential distribution on the grid is simulated and analyzed by the ATP-EMTP software. The mathematical model of grounding body is established based on actual grounding grid structures, Adding grounding body can solve the problem of ground potential uniform for the design and laying of grounding grid, improve the impact potential distribution, improve the ground potential distribution when the power frequency flow into the ground, and prevent the rise of the local potential. Through changing the soil resistivity and size of ground grid, and analysis of the ground potential change rule, summarizing the two kinds of protective measures, consequently the certain reference is provided for improving the protective measures of grounding potential.
