Analysis of the Locomotive Bogie Vibrating Signal Based on the Wavelet Theory

In this paper firstly both the fundamental principle of wavelet transform and decomposing the signal with wavelet transform are introduced. Secondly the fundamental theory, procedure and practical algorithm are described in detail, where the soft threshold algorithm is used to get the threshold value that is used to deal with the wavelet coefficients. Finally in the application aspect, the vibrate signal of locomotive is decomposed by the method of wavelet transform and the noise components are removed from the signal according to the algorithm introduced in this paper. It is clear that the wavelet method get a satisfactory result.
