Three Way Handshakes Based on Self-certified of Public Key

Chunxia Han · Journal of Yangtze University · 2008

First,a self-certified signature based on public key cryptosystem was proposed. In this scheme,a user anonymously fulfills identity registration with the protocol of user registration, and gets the certificate of public key generated from CA and the user. Based on this certificate, the public key of a user can be computed. The both end users of handshaking can finish the verification of public key for each other with the protocol of self-certified of public key. The receiver of message can recover the original message based on the signature. Therefore, the proposed signature scheme has identity authenticated and message confidentiality. Second, generates a secret handshake making use of a scheme. In a secret handshake protocol,an honest member in the group never reveals his group af?liation unless the other party is a valid member of the same group. If a handshake between two parties fails, the identity of either party is not disclosed.
