A Hardware/Software Partitioning Algorithm Based on the Single-CPU-Single-ASIC Architecture

Hardware/software partitioning is one of the most crucial steps in hardware/software codesign.A partitioning algorithm based on data flow graphs is presented,which aims at the single-CPU-single-ASIC architecture.This paper shows that the algorithm can solve the time-constrained minimum hardware partitioning problem effectively and lead to promising results.
