A Design and Implementation for the Uniform QuerySystem of Scientific Database

This paper firstly introduces the background of Scientific Database, analyses the characteristics of Scientific Databases and the requirements of uniform query. Then it compares the different technologies of implementing uniform query. Based on the thorough analysis, it designs the model of Uniform Query System and explains the structure and function of the model. Finally, it summarizes the system. The system has been implemented in the project of the Scientific Data Grid.
