General Principles of Co-words Analysis Method and Achieved by EXCEL

Co-words analysis method is one of the important literature research methods.It is used extensively in the many subjects ' fields at home and abroad.People mainly construct co-authors and co-words matrix by spss,ucinet and other software to analyze the literature data,but these software are more difficult to understand and master.This article discusses how to use the popular software Excel in the co-words analysis,and take domestic knowledge management research in the library and information science as an example.The results proved that there are unique advantages for Excel in co-words analysis.Therefore,the research will promote co-words analysis method,as an important research method,towards popularity.
