Research on Congestion Control Mechanisms Based on the Re-transport Agents of Multi-media Streams

This paper introduces the design method of a multimedia communication based on the re-transport agents.,and combing the user expansion problem regarding the end-to-end architectural models of multimedia communication system,a new congestion control mechanism is also suggested on the basis of re-transport agents technique: first,build the re-transport agents tree by using the method of congestion avoidance;then,adjust and control the rate of data streams and the occupation of network bandwidth with respect to the present network bandwidth to avoid network congestion by balancing some loads and losing some loads,and QoS negotiation in re-transport agents tree.The method solves the control problem of QoS in the re-transport agents tree and meet most the QoS requirements of multimedia communication.
