Research on the Discrimination of Direct Handwriting and Writings Printed By Lithography

Objective To explore the method for distinguishing the direct writing and the printing writing with lithography.Method Writings were printed by FM, AM screening, and PS, CTP plate, and the results were comparied with direct handwitings. Result Using FM screening and CTP plate, the printed writing is difficult to distinguish from direct writings. The examination could be carried out from the aspects of gloss, permeability, paper fibers and strokes. Conclusion The analysis of writing formation is cirtical in the handwriting comparison and the research could be used in this aspect.
