Research of Chinese character feature extraction method based on gabor tansform

The traditional Chinese characters character feature extraction method were always affected by the font,size and so on.So in this paper,a direction sensitive feature extraction method Gabor transform was studied in image textural features extraction.The Gabor transform of character image can get the Chinese stroke direction characteristic.Experimental results showed that the feature extraction in this paper has great performance of classification effect.
