An Improved LPC Speech Coder

An improved LPC speech coder is proposed in this paper,A concept of similarity between LPC based on likelihood distance is proposed,by this method the bit rates of LPC coder can be reduced to as low as 1.7kbps without distinct damage to the synthetic speech quality.
