An Event Related Potential Study on Respiratory Phase

To study the relationship of four respiratory phases and features of P300,oddball paradigm is applied.The results show that the amplitude of P300 on holding breath phase was larger than on non-holding breath on auditory and visual mode,and had distinct difference among all respiratory phases.The latency of P300 showed distinct difference among respiratory phases only on visual mode.All respiratory phases have close relation with P300's amplitude and latency.Different respiratory phase may be assigned different attentive resources.
