A Mixed Image Coding Algorithm Based on Combining Wavelet and Fractals

A mixed image coding algorithm is presented by combining the wavelet transform and fractal coding technology effectually.The experiment results show that the method is highly efficient,especially in the aspects of decreasing coding time and improving compression rate.
