Research on the Disaster Prevention and Rescue System of Immersed Tunnel

The disaster prevention and rescue system of immersed tunnel due to its special structure type is different from those of shield tunnels and ordinary highway tunnels.This paper describes the principle and basic components of disaster prevention and rescue system for the immersed tunnel,especially the tunnel safety concept,fire scenario,configuration of safety equipment,escape passage and so on.This article helps to guide the design of the immersed tunnel safety systems and to improve the safety of the tunnel operation.
