Elliptic curve cryptosystem is increasingly applied to all kinds of security protocols.Vulnerability of Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol is analyzed, such as weakness to intermediate attack.A new authenticated key exchange protocol based on the elliptic curve digital signature scheme is proposed. The security of this protocol is relied on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem. The protocol provide identity authentication, key validation, known key security, forward secrecy, and defense of foilman-in-the-middle attacks. The security and performance of key exchange protocol is effectively improved by applying Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem to its authentication process.
