The paper describes the actuality of the linear FM signal technology and basic theory of the DDS.It gives the main features and applications of AD9858 which uses advanced DDS technology.The structures of the hardware and the contraction based on AD9858 are showed in figures.It also gives the waveform based on VHDL and describes the flow sheet of the control of the linear FM signal.
