Drawing and application of Rose Stereographic Diagram of Joint

To better analyze the effect of joint and fault on the stability and seepage of the rock mass in a hydraulic project,we combined the trend of the rose diagram of joint with stereographic projection,drawing them in the same stereographic circle,so that we obtained a Rose Stereographic Diagram of Joint.The feasibility of the method is verified by its application in the dam foundation and abutment of Luntan hydraulic project.
