The Periodical Control of Discrete Event Dynamic System
Jing Cao · Control theory & applications · 2001
We study the performance of a discrete event system when using periodical input which is simple and practical especially in computer communication network. The result shows that the state vector is also periodical if the input is. Given that μ and λ are the periods of input and system respectively. When μ is greater than λ, the period of state vector is also μ and the system will have good resistibility from disturbance to some extent. If μ is equal to λ, the utilization is the best. If μ is lower than λ, the system is overload and will have a congestion.
