Framework of XML-based extensible standard of data interchange for B2B in petrol chemistry-oriented E-commerce

In petrol chemistry-oriented E-commerce (B2B), there are so many data interchanges between distributed heterogeneous databases. A framework is proposed, which is for data interchange standard and its designing principle orienting material purchase in ChinaPetrochemicalCorporation. The standard is basedon XML (extensible markup language) and used XML documentas datacarrier. This standard includes workflow model, business process model, business vocabulary, XML schema, and message protocol. The workflow model is used for specify data interchange procedure, business process model for specify the role of user and data interchange document type in business process; vocabulary for specify business term of data interchange in this area; XML schema for constrain the interchange document, and message protocol for specify the message interaction style.
