Recently it is a hot topic in computer hardware field that some AMD CPUs can be opened core.Taking AMD Athlon X2 5000 CPU as an example,the open core characteristics of AMD CPU have been researched.The practical test shows that the various performances of AMD Athlon X2 5000 increase greatly after opening core than before,and the effect of opening quad core is obvious.The research result is of directive significance for the computer users to buy and use AMD CPU at present.
