Method and Application of Reliability Simulation Using Improved Fault Tree Analysis

This paper starts from basic concept and characteristic of fault tree analysis.The two step strategy of simplifying structure of fault tree that incorporates Faunet simplification and Liner-Time algorithm is presented.The algorithmic description of qualitative analysis and mathematical calculation of quantitative analysis are presented.And then improved fault tree analysis is applied in a simulation example of some large-scale missile safety system simulation.
