Native XML database system is specifically tailored for storing and managing XML data according to its characteristics.On the basis of introducing the features and architecture of Native XML database,the key technologies of Native XML database including storage mechanism,index and query techniques,transaction management and so on,are discussed in detail.At last a detailed comparison and analysis on the implementation methods of such technologies of material Native XML database systems is made.
