The public security video surveillance system has been increasingly effective in the prevention and crackdown of criminal activities.Characterized by real-time monitoring,quick response,fixed evidence and helpful clues for further investigation,the system has been playing a crucial role in criminal investigation. However,there still exist some problems in regard to the construction,maintenance and management of video monitoring systems.As a result,enhanced awareness of application and regulated management can bring the potential into full play.
