Design of DDS Based on DSP Builder and Its Implementation with FPGA

Direct Digital Synthesizer(DDS) has high frequency resolution which may realize the frequency fast cut,maintain the phase continual and be very easily to realize digital modulation of frequency,phase and amplitude.This paper sets out from the principle of DDS,introduces a kind of DDS design based on DSP Builder lookup table configuration and completes the configuration downloading process to FPGA device through QuartusⅡ.The programmable logical device has big scale,quick working speed and is programmable which is extremely suitably used to realize DDS.
