Research on Algorithm of Geo-data Partition based on Information Grid

The spatial database has the characteristics of massive and distribution.In order to collect information and discover knowledge from the spatial databases,this paper introduced a computing model of spatial data mining based on information grid.Based on the analysis of general principle and approach of spatial data partition,it gave an elementary data partition algorithm specified for the model.Meanwhile,it estimated and analyzed the time performance of the algorithm by simulated experiment.
