Ontology Database Construction based on IT Maintenance

In order to better solve the computer and network failures encountered daily for teachers and students, this paper presents that stores the failure problem and its solution method in database,which information technology teachers of the colleges encounter in daily maintenance work. By combing with the technology of constructing domain ontology, we can supply the basic data for the intelligent IT maintenance platform by constructed in future. Firstly, the paper introduces the definition of the IT maintenance and the ontology theory, which includes the concept of ontology, construction principles and methods. Then, according to the seven steps of constructing ontology, we focus on the construction process and the application of the IT maintenance ontology.
