An improved thresholding method in wavelet transform domain for denosing

Donoho et al have proposed A method for de-noising by thresholding [1,2] , and indeed, their method has been used in many signal de-noising and compression problems. But the method of Donoho is not successful for impulsive noises. This paper, we proposed a new improvement thresholding method, which can be used to more widely kind of noisy signal, and the noises even if impulsive noises can be decreased well. Examples are performed to illustrate the advantages of this approach.
