On Visual Impairment' s Influence on Children's Development

Correctly categorizing visual impairment's influence on children's development is the foundation of adopting scientific education and rehabilitation measures. Direct influence is inevitable influence directly caused by visual impairment, and indirect influence is unnecessary influence caused by environment. This article exemplifies direct and indirect influence using Lowenfeld s three restrictions and stereotypic behaviors. In addition, relationship between different influence and different environment is discussed. Different educational and rehabilitation measures should be adopted according to different influence.
